Mary Blair was an art director on several Disney animated features, including Cinderella, Alice In Wonderland, and Peter Pan.  At the request of Walt Disney, who regarded highly her innate sense of color styling, Blair began work on Disney’s new attraction, “It’s a Small World” in 1963. Originally a Pepsi-Cola-sponsored pavilion benefiting UNICEF at the 1964 New York World’s Fair, the attraction moved to Disneyland after the Fair closed.

The famous Hoot Hoot I Scream shack.  It was an ice cream parlor built in the shape of a giant owl in the mid-1920s in Los Angeles. Originally located on E. Valley Blvd. in Rosemead before it moved to Long Beach, where it was finally demolished in the mid-1950s.
