Small Town Sessions, Artist promos.

Blackpool record label wanted a studio shoot that encompassed the 'all nighter' whilst getting in the headshots of their whole roster. The set design was focussed around a cheap hotel and piling in after DJing until early hours, descending into the after party. Whilst the photos were quite unserious they felt brilliant, and really carried over the essence of the idea.

This is my record label; focussing on Experimental and Black Metal music. Why I set it up was mostly a weird joy in the little physical acts in making cassettes, folding paper, making tape masters, actually spending the time to dub them (and I had a decent machine to do it!). There was also the other side, making the artwork, laying it out to fit onto j-cards, photographing/photocopying weird images from books to manipulate in Photoshop to make for the covers. Here I've presented the covers as laid out for cassette printing, before they become the physical objects I've designed them to be.

My local book store asked me to design a poster for their new bookclub; The Slow Burn Book Club. The focus was the Romance and Romantasy genres as there was a specific audience at their store wanting to discuss this literature.

A photo campaign for Black Metal artist; Caïna. These photos were originally meant to be for media use only, as seen with the Zero Tolerance spread. Caïna decided the photos worked so well they should be incorporated within the album packaging itself.
