and if i said that most of the year 3 cast is like a breath of fresh air?

last night was my last time seeing everyone that’s leaving and i was honestly more emotional than i was expecting to be. if it wasn’t already obvious, this show means so much to me and the cast has been part of what makes me continue to come back and what makes the show so special and magical to me. it was also a very sad full circle moment since trevor was my first ponyboy and i saw one of his performances as ponyboy, he was the one who gave me the book, and now i’ve seen him for the last time. same thing with sky, i’ve been a fan of him since 2018 when i was deeply in the dear evan hansen fandom and i’ve seen him more than i’ve seen any other cast member in this show. i’m so excited for the new cast to come in and can’t wait to see what they bring to the table, but last night his me extra hard.

coming out of hibernation to say that’s it’s annoying when you spam the comments on soc saturday with your same comment saying something like you’re watching from the bus, or asking who’s on, dragging jokes that have been played out since last year, or asking to see (or not see) certain people especially when you spam while they’re not even looking at the screen. it’s melody’s live, so she’ll put whoever she wants on it because those are her friends, regardless of anything else we might know about them, so telling people to go away doesn’t really do much and you’re probably only making melody annoyed at you, and if she doesn’t want to address things then she doesn’t have to. and the whole “dan was mean to us” thing should’ve been over immediately after it started because he didn’t do anything wrong and people were screaming “NO” in the comments when melody said he was doing the live next week, which is just rude and immature. anyway, live laugh love jpc 🫶🏾

i just feel like this needs to be said, especially since it lowkey annoys me every time that i see it being brought up, but i don’t think it’s the best idea to constantly be making posts or asking cast members if they’re extending their contracts. back when dear evan hansen and mean girls were on broadway and i was in the fandoms for those shows, people didn’t ask the cast members if they were staying with the show or not or making posts about like it was front page news. if people stayed, they stayed, and if people didn’t, they didn’t. i get that people have members of the cast that they really want to see, but i also think that they shouldn’t have to deal with people always asking them if they’re continuing or not because that’s their journey and they shouldn’t feel pressured to stay or not. not everyone is going to stay with this show for the next year and while it’s perfectly normal to feel kinda sad when people leave, i don’t think that there should be such a need to find out who’s leaving and who’s not. maybe i sound crazy, maybe i’ll take this down, but this is something that’s been getting on my nerves lately.
