 jonathan’s sight locked on her, a small smile formed on his lips as she were speaking; her clothes still wet and possibly frozen from weather was not the best thing to wear; he took off his jacket and offered it to her; “please wear this, it will keep you warm;” he said with a smile; “oh.. i am, glad to hear that; thank you;” the raven haired young man said with a slight node of his head;

“Eggs.”

“Yes… I can see that too.” she said somewhat amused. “Do you intend to make something off them or is there something special about them?” she followed with a smile and a little laugh.

Aine took the advice of Princes Margaret to heart. She sniffed the air around her and immediately inhaled the stench of unfiltered truth. She was a mess. Slowly she dropped her garments from her body until she was bare to the skin. The fresh air felt good against her skin but rolled over her wound like sandpaper. She let out a restrained groan and dipped her soiled clothes into the water with a bit of soap. She scrubbed and scrubbed them against the washboard until her fingers were numb. She thought that she was alone and did not take the precaution of hiding her nudity around the secluded lake. She hung her clothing to dry and slipped into the water. She carefully maneuvered so that her gnarly wound was not soaked with the lakes presumably clean water. She washed herself thoroughly beginning at her tangled mess of blonde straws. Once she bathed she sat on the edge of the bank soaking up the last of the Suns kiss. It was bliss to be so free. Aine was not ashamed of her body or its canvas of grizzly scars. It wasn’t until a twig snapped behind her that she cared to acknowledge the naked state she was in. Pride kept her from covering herself as she spun around and showed all to the curious human before her. “It appears I am not alone.” Aine rolled her eyes as they met the others. “Well? No use in feeling embarrassed. You are not the one naked. Sit, I do not mind.”

“Something solid.” He said in a nonchalant manner. There is a pause and he sighed a little, standing up. “—look, Jonathan, I doubt you will find anything. I know you are hurt after what happened between you,” he did not know the whole story, he did not need to, “but, an investigation has already been held. no poisons where found in her possession, nothing to link her to his death directly. or indirectly.”
