I've only recently heard there was a petition to stop the film adaptation of a popular book that romanticized SA. Many women around the world have experienced rape and have been traumatized only for their trauma be seen as a romantic gesture or "you secretly enjoyed it".

This book is disgusting and has disgusting defenders saying it's "just fiction". FICTION AFFECTS REALITY. It's happened before and will happen again if we do nothing about it. Please, I beg of you, sign the petition to prevent this coming onto the big screen.
