     Eleven hours of deliveries had left her yearning for the sweet, citrusy refuge of C.C. lemon as a post-work reward. So when she sees the customer before her suddenly select the last one,  she’s unable to repress her jolt of devastation, the anguish on her face flashing even brighter than the SOLD OUT display.  Yet his question jolts her further for her own apparent rudeness, and she’s propelled quickly scrambling in reply.   ❝ O-oh, no …  I mean yes, but, ah,  I’m fine with anything! ❞

    the girl had pinned herself against the closest wall   ,   praying that nothing would take her ever again   .   she listened closely and did her best to figure out every sound around her   ,   but then there was a voice   ———–   it was one she couldn’t recognize at all   .   the brunette poked her head out from her hiding spot and found the stranger dressed in black   ,   who in the world was that   ?   he didn’t appear all too dangerous   ,   in  fact he was the only thing that stood out from this place   .   after glancing around she quietly walked out from her hiding place   ,   ❛   i’m here   .   .   .   ❜   she was obviously nervous   ,   scared even   ,   but she knew she had to speak up or else this opportunity would never come up again   .

      THE others were too busy to make it down, which he could understand with summer approaching soon for the students. Was it dangerous for him to travel within the metaverse alone? certainly, but he had to see for himself. Shadows in the distance, Ren made it a goal to not catch too many in his presence. Arsene was here to protect the thief, but he was here to help those stuck. ❝I was hoping the rumors weren’t true, but I’m glad you’re safe.❞ A gloved hand reaches towards the girl, the masked teen giving her a comforting smile.

     NOW, Celine wasn’t particularly one to JUDGE someone but how was she supposed to react when she spotted the transfer student, chatting away with his cat ? The only conclusion she could come up was that he was LONELY but that aside, she was slightly … amused by this sight. She heard rumours that the transfer student was an ODD one and it turns out they were right. 

     ❛ Are they ? I guess they make for an easy conversationalist since they can’t say anything back. You must have quite the relationship with your cat then. Does he COMFORT you when you’re feeling sad ? ❜

   HOW embarrassing it was to be caught talking to an animal, let alone in front of some who..seemed to be more entertained. ❝Don’t you think their meows are good conversation? sometimes an owner can understand just by the distinct action they do.❞  he reaches to pet beneath mona’s chin, hoping to calm down the feline and to help with the situation.❝Oh, I think I cheer him up more than anything.❞ Ren teases lightly, mona nips at his fingers with a light huff.

  “your concern is appreciated.” you let the robotic turn slip back into your voice. there is no need to pretend to be human here, in the belly of the beast. “but not necessary.” you’re dressed as a human, so no wonder he thought otherwise. it’s slightly flattering. you pull your glove off of your right hand, and the gun barrels that make up your fingers click open. a blink. you don’t think that was… convincing enough. you’ve seen some strange things down here. “pallas athena.” glass bursts from your chest as your persona floats around you, shield shining, protective. “i assure you, i will be fine.”

           of course, this game was meant to be played with more than one person, but hana never was one to super care about that.   in fact, it was more of a challenge to her, which made it even better.  though, when the teen offered to join she gladly accepted.  

             “ yea, yea!  join on in!  just know, we are playing the hardest mode.  much more fun that way, right? ”

           before even letting him answer, her gun’s pointer moved to the hard button.   

     A CHALLENGE? he couldn’t decline it after insisting to join her, despite the game mood to be for more pro players. Smash that button am I right? ❝I suppose it is, seeing how all the younger kids can’t keep up with your skill level.❞ Ren laughs, admiring the toy gun and aiming it on the screen. ❝Then, shall we?❞ with ease, he pulls the trigger at the screen on the desired mode, nodding lightly at her before putting all focus on the screen.

    THIS was the last can of cold C.C lemon out from the vending machine. Ren reaches to fetch the can out of its dispensary, ready to crack the drink open in one full flick. But he catches glimpse of her staring, almost as if he had stolen what she wanted. ❝Oh. Were you wanting the same drink as well?❞

    ❝Are you heading home already, Makoto?❞ Teen reaches for his coat, sliding one arm in before getting the other in. Rain began to pour outside, causing all the students to reach for an umbrella and bundle up. ❝Looks like there’s only one left, we could share if you’d like.❞ Ren offers a light smile, grabbing the white umbrella and pushing up his frames. 

i names him akira in my playthrough, and did so again in Q2, but i find myself really liking the name ren! i honestly love both asdfjkl
