WHO IS SHITTING ON RAMI? WHO DO I HAVE TO FIGHT? 😡 I get that some folks don’t like Lucy for whatever reason & don’t like their relationship, but honestly, Rami is perfectly capable of making his own life decisions. He is a grown adult, an intelligent & thoughtful person, & is not known for making rash decisions. He is committed to being his own authentic self & is a normal, down-to-earth guy (albeit an incredibly beautiful & talented one… but a normal human being nonetheless). He is a real person, not a character or a caricature in a fanfic. His relationship is his choice, his business, & we as fans don’t have any say in it one way or another. Rami is the same person he was before BoRhap, before Lucy, before his Oscar. His LIFE changed & he is still navigating his way through that the best he can. He can be standoffish or shy one day, outgoing & exuberant the next. Because he’s a human being with actual human emotions. Rami is doing well despite everyone suddenly wanting a piece of him, paps chasing him down the street, etc. I don’t know him personally but from what I can see, he seems generally happy & content. I’m sorry for the rant, but I just get so tired of everyone picking on Rami for every little thing. I’m just tired. I try my best to be a positive, supportive presence in the Rami fandom but it’s hard sometimes. Maybe it’s the marathon training while working full time & fighting chronic fatigue, depression, & migraines all summer long but I’m just so tired. Anyway, I’ll be here in my corner supporting Rami. 💙

@honestmysteries Thank you for always being a beacon of light in this fandom, I always love seeing your cute little positive additions to posts. The people doing this are pretty much a bunch of anons i’ve seen lately on a couple of blogs I’d rather not name, but the fact that they feel they need to shit on Rami or announce how he’s so “ingenuine” is what bothers me. I’m just so over it, if they really feel that way then they can just leave, there’s no need to stir up drama

That made my day! 🥰 One of my favorite things about Rami is that he isn’t that slick, polished Hollywood type that seems manufactured or like the person is wearing a mask. He seems like a real person in a world of puppets & robots. He’s a breath of fresh air. It bugs me when these anons claim he’s disingenuous because of what they believe (rather than what he actually is/does). He’s worked so damn hard over the years, dealing with racism & stereotypes, to build his career, & he finally breaks through, but instead of people admiring him for his talent & accomplishments, he gets shit on because of his relationship. Good Lord. I wish I could write Rami a letter thanking him for being an inspiration & for all the hard work he does to produce art that entertains & moves us, and that I truly appreciate all he does. Because looking at him or watching something with him in it brightens my day. I also sometimes wish I could draw a circle of protection around him. 🥺

Hands down my favorite part of Night At The Museum is that it’s low key the plot of The Mummy (1999) but like, chill.

Like Rami Malek’s character isn’t like a mannequin come to life like the rest of them. He’s 100% a 3000 year old reanimated corpse. And everyone’s just fine with it.

He could just take the tablet and fully walk out of the museum and just live his life but he’s a bro and would rather be a glorified docent.
