I had a dream that humans found a secret to immortality and it was some random succulent plant. Unfortunately it was violently blooming and disintegrating during a rain and the people had some malfunction on the spaceship that caused normal water to be poured on everything from ceilings. The plants destroyed themselves and the humans who had been consuming them for centuries suddenly turned old and got chemical burns in their insides, with like 99% of them dying.
