hello! i love your writing & the fic Consummate Professional so much that i used it as bait to get my fiance to read homestuck, because i knew the way you write dirkjake would cut to his psyche the same way it does mine lol since he loves the specific femme fatale responsibility-avoiding-liar archetype that jake english is. he also loves johnkat so its a double whammy bait that i hooked him with. and it worked. now he's just started act 6 act 5 of the main comic, and we've started reading Consummate Professional aloud on call together!!!!
we read thru the first therapy session chapter today and i'm glad dirk and jake talk about their History in such vague terms because it made my fiance (who already knows in vague sweeps that their relationship will rot over time bc ive mentioned it in rambles before, but not the specifics) extremely anticipatory of What will happen to them >:) super fun. thank you for the gift of your writing
