An experienced public and private attorney based in Chicago, Illinois, John Heintz has practiced law in the education and business sectors, both domestically and internationally. In his role as senior legal consultant, John Heintz of Chicago oversees all law-related services, and he has provided consultation to business executives on such topics as information technology and sustainability. Mr. Heintz previously served as chief legal officer at Niles Township High School District 219, where he also held the position of assistant superintendent for operations. During his tenure in District 219, he reduced spending by 32 percent, and he established a total of $160 million in new contracts with local organizations benefiting Nile Township. Away from his business endeavors, John Heintz enjoys spending time with family and traveling. He has visited several destinations around the world, including the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Hong Kong. In addition to travel, he likes to read classic literature and historical nonfiction. One of his favorite authors is US presidential biographer Doris Kearns Goodwin, who wrote Team of Rivals and No Ordinary Time.
