I really missed Johnny right about now.

I dropped him out at the Curtis household not too long ago, but it's really obvious when he's not around. Everything feels so... off. 

There was a lot of people at the diner.. but, even then, it feels oddly empty..?

Now, I shouldn't go over there. They didn't know about us. ( right? )

But I felt real desperate. 

It's not like Johnny wouldn't like it. Hell, he's invited me over countless times. More so the fact that they're all greasers, and I don't really like greasers.

Sure, Johnny's a grease, but.. something about him is different. I don't need to justify our relationship! 

But, maybe we should tell them. I mean, Johnny's hung out with Cherry a bit. They're friends, why can't I make do with his buddies ? 

So, that's what I did. ( after finishing my milkshake. )

I left the diner and got into my Mustang, getting myself all the way to their household. 

Now, I didn't really know anyone there, and that'll sure be a hassle. 

I suppose I already knew their names, so no name like " Sodapop " would suprise me, but even then, I had no face to go off of. 

I arrived at the house, and a sudden shiver came over me. I was going to meet them. Or, try to ? Who even knows if they were home anyway.

Despite everything telling me not to, I knocked on that door.

It took a minute before anyone answered, but some kid opened it right up.

He seemed familiar, like someone I've seen at school. Johnny did mention Ponyboy was the only Curtis brother I school, so that explains it.

He looked up at me, confused. Which did make sense for him to do. What else do you do when a stranger comes to your house?

"Hey... Is Johnny in there?" 

He just looked at me blankly for what felt like forever. But finally nodded and called for him.

I'm not one for affection, ( around others ) but how could I not hug him back? I squeezed him hard, which left him a little annoyed, but I could make up for that later.

As soon as I saw Johnny I felt so, so happy. Happy to be his, happy to be in his company again. I couldn't help but grin when he came over.

Johnny seemed just as excited to see me, running over to hug me.

The other boy just looked at us, amused.

After just a few moments, he finally spoke up. " So, are you Bob ? "

Well, I guess Johnny did tell him about us. I looked over at him and nodded.

" You are..? "

He seemed suprised I didn't know who he was, who could blame me ? 

" Ponyboy... " He seemed reluctant to tell me his name, which saddened me a little. Poor kid. Unless he liked the name, I mean, he went by it for a reason.

" I've heard a lot about you Pones. " I hoped he didn't mind the nickname so soon, but he didn't seem to.

"What are you doing here anyway?" Johnny asked, finally pulling away from my grasp.

I shrugged, I didn't want to admit that I missed him too much to be away from him any longer, how embarrassing is that ?

" Wanted to meet him..? " I said , glancing at Ponyboy again.

Johnny seemed satisfied with the answer, while Ponyboy didn't seem to convinced, he was nice enough not to pry.

" Well, you can come in if you want man.. " he opened the door wider, letting me into the house. I nodded, slowly pushing Johnny back in while I followed right behind him.

" Mhm. Thanks Pony. "
