The Jackdaw and the Doll, a creative collaboration between myself and Izumi Yokoyama, is scheduled to be released today. I wrote this Kafka-inspired fable, which Izumi illustrated in sumi-e. For those who are familiar with and fans of Miss Yokoyama's bewitching body of artwork and multi-media installations, I am happy to announce that Jackdaw marks her debut as a book illustrator.
