Album Promo
Hi everybody. It’s been some time since I posted here. I’ve been concentrating on music at the expense of photography over the last year or so. I’ve finally finished an album that I’m proud of. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and will hopefully lead to finishing more music projects.Â
The tricky bit is now getting anybody to listen to it. So I may briefly ambush your dash with a bit of light promo work over the next few days with links to videos featuring animations with snippets of tracks from the album (which is called ‘Camel Road’ by the way).
It’s electronic music, quite poppy and dancey in places, and also quite sound-designy and experimental in places. An amalgam of inspiration coming from Prince, Discovery-Era Daft Punk, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Four Tet, 2-Step Garage rhythms and even hints of Steely Dan.
The album will be available next weekend on streaming platforms and to digitally own for a fee of your choice from Bandcamp. All proceeds from sales on Bandcamp will go to the Lebanese Red Cross.
Anyway, now I’ve got this album out of my system I might even start posting photos here again. Take care.
