a cackle of amusement escapes his throat, barely steadying the phone in his sweaty palms. the night is merciless, the warm wind making him practically stick to the bed sheets, unable to find a comfortable enough position to sleep in. that’s one of the reasons why he’s even awake at this ungodly hour, especially after a long day - but the moment his phone chirped and the name displayed hers, there was no way he’d call it a night that easily. 

[ KKT :  김제니 ] are you on some sexy date or out with the rest of blackpink? 

the moment he hits send, his expressions morphs into a sour one, realising his question is both intrusive and painfully obvious. he can already taste her reply, something among the lines of ‘are you jealous, kim mingyu’ and the unfortunate truth is, that yes, he could be. if anything goes south, he can always claim one of his members snatched his phone away and he totally didn’t even send any of these messages. 

the smile across her features made it more than obvious that she was waiting for that reply as moments with the one on the other side of the line were never less amusing as it was this night. her over the top concentration, made the members question who is she texting so intensively, especially considering that jennie was never the person to rush with her replies, always leaving time for it. although his remark definitely did cause her a tiny bit of embarrassment, her cheeks flushing in crimson red.

(KKT > 김민규 ) i know you’re excited to see more pictures of me, but i don’t think today is your lucky day. HEHE!

(KKT > 김민규 ) yes, you’re right. i am on 5 dates at the same time. of course i am with my members, would jealousy hit you if i’d say i’m on a date?

of course just as he expected she could not help but tease him and that caused her further amusement. she knew that even if he says to hate being teased by her, deep down he enjoys those little fights just as much as she does. 

her lips suddenly formed a rather disappointed pout, as she sighed in a bitter-sweet manner.

Her eyes widened in defense as she immediately threw a confronting remark, trying to avoid the fact that she just teased the younger unthoughtfully. “Someone is a little bit gullible, aren’t we? Come on, you know me well enough to agree that I would never hurt a fly, forget the feelings of a precious sunbae, if anything i should be asking you for advice!”

In all honesty she herself had little to no idea what her previous remark was supposed to mean. She would most likely name it one of her caught in the moment suddenly oh so deep thoughts which she accidentally murmured out loud. Upon realising what just happened, she looked at the other female with an apologetic look before bursting out into a bundle of laughs. “Why you may ask? The other day I witnessed a whole lot of poetry coming from someone’s lips and wondered whether it could be that strong wicked drink hitting through or not. But now that you said it’s common, I suppose it should be considered true...What do you think?”

Is that a trap or did you really find out what my favorite candies are?

Hm, I have to say, it must be Breadanne Park. Because with that, not only do I get my dearest soulmate, but also a lifetime supply of banana bread, chocolate bread, Italian bread, french baguette…Amazing!

RANDOM ANGST MEMES // @mingeu!

It’s a wrap! Everyone at the table toasted for successful two days of concerts. It was one of the few evenings the blackpink members were staying in Japan, featuring in their senior’s concert. The girls have been in and out of Seoul most of the time these days, barely even remembering the comfort of her own bed, Jennie did feel a little bit homesick. Especially knowing that they are coming back to Japan by the end of the month, she wanted to make sure to spend the time she had in her hands wisely. The thought of Mingyu crossed her mind once or twice, thinking that she hasn’t seen him for ages now as the other is even more of a busy bee than she is. Perhaps she was tired, bored or maybe that one glass of wine she had with the food caused her mind wandering. Despite everyone at the table chatting, she pulled out her phone only to see a few messages here and there asking if she’s enjoying her time abroad. She opened her camera and decided to take a picture, posing with the food feast that was on the table. Who would she send this to if not Mingyu? Very proud of the outcome, she sent an attachment to the latter:

A cheeky smile appeared on her face as she pressed the send button. She did not expect her phone to buzz in a span of less than two minutes, considering it was rather late but it did. The change in her expression was obvious, as without even noticing she scoffed, rolling her eyes a little bit at her friend’s reply. Who even asks such a question after not hearing from each other for a few days? She rushed to text him back, concentrating on her phone as she took a sip of the juice she was having.
