I have to find a better way of editing because I started off doing the drum breakdowns and guitar riffs of Hello Juliet but that kinda locks me down with pacing which I have figured out but my main issue is telling a story with quick flashes of panels so I have to have a mishmash of different panels to tell a coherent story through pure visuals but the edit is going to start off with Kira waking up from getting his ass beat by Jotaro right before Josuke shows up

A little teaser for my Josuke edit the parallax sequence I’m showing in this gif took forever to make because I get the panels from mangadex but since the b&w scan is crappy I use the colored manga but convert into b&w then I add a warm filter over it to yellow it out then I have to cut out the panels manually which I use the mark up feature that iPhone has which was so buggy because it didn’t want to save and that cost me like 3 hours of my time also as you can guess by the lyrics the song is Hello Juliet because I was inspired by the JJK Ryu edits lol

Also I’m being so deadass when I say this why the fuck was Araki so hellbent on making Lucy suffer all of SBR like she had everyone creeping on her not to mention that weird cover art Araki made of her considering she’s like 14 also although I don’t want the anime to censor any this stuff I hope it’s dialed back a bunch or even made more impactful with added detail to show how evil it all is because it’s already bad in the manga but it’s kinda brushed past quickly with plot points

It’s coming together pretty well but I still have another minute of the edit to work on lol

I’ve lowkey been slacking off the last few days so I barely worked on the edits that are going to drop after this one so they might release even way later lol

I’m probably going to make this one relatively lighthearted showcasing the slice of life aspect of part 4

I think the song choice is perfect for Kars as he ascended into becoming the ultimate creation

Here’s the second one I’ll drop after that one with the third being a surprise as it’s going to be pretty funny

I actually can’t wait until we have Gojo vs Sukuna animated in like 4 years it’s going to rival UI Goku and gear 5 Luffy in terms of a major reveal

I really love the OVA’s style and how Dio is actually really scary in terms of both physical prowess but also the fact that stopped time is shown to be really busted

I was shitposting when I made this also I sometimes mix audios myself by cutting down songs and blending it so it doesn’t sound choppy or adding sound effects which sometimes I actually find more enjoyable than making an edit lol

I really liked the idea of matching voicelines and music together it’s cool in theory but it’s pretty hard to pull off well especially if the song has a weird bpm or melody
