I didn't make that many gifs lately, so I don't have a lot to show. But since I was tagged by so many wonderful creators, I decided to participate! I'm still not particularly great at making gifs, but I love the process of coloring and always try to improve.

Here's a bit of a mix since their comeback. I tend to keep my colorings very simple and always try to get rid off the yellow tones and increase the cyans/blues ones if that's possible. Getting to color some of these gifs have been very painful lol but very fun also.

some colorings i'm particularly proud of in roughly chronological order! i took a long break from giffing and relearned coloring in a completely new program when i came back, so it feels almost like relearning and rediscovering my love for giffing alongside getting to know bangtan at the same time. i've been particularly enjoying playing with realism vs capturing the mood/feel/effect of a moment as best as i can, alongside trying to get better at all the other million small things that make a good gif. sometimes i make a set and become blind to how it actually looks because i'm too caught up in minute details, leave it for a while, then come back and forget everything i was trying to do lol, so i want to get to a point where i get lost less frequently. but it's also been really fun sometimes to be lost and just play with the colors without a goal until i end up with something.

I love seeing the ~transformations~ of your beautiful creations. most of these gifs are from the concerts. actually, I had forgotten to save some for this gifset until kelli reminded me 😅 I think we all know how hard it was to get the colouring right for this tours concerts, so I believe we should all be really proud of what we've done. ♡ the sharpening on these probably looks weird but that's just because I resized the original gifs 😭 I was too lazy to make new ones. I'm sorry LAKSLAKLKS

i tried to arrange these from row to row by category like dvd/series > red lighting/grading > yellow color grading > blue lighting/grading > fancams. there have been a lot of challenges since the comeback when it comes to coloring gifs (especially official concert streams) and there have definitely been times i've scrapped entire sets because it felt impossible, but i'm proud of the ones i've managed to tackle! my thing will always be making the whites (like clothes and teeth) as white as i can and the blacks (like clothes, hair, stage backgrounds) as black as i can without making it look weird or washing out their skin. i don't always get it right, but i try my best.

I'm really happy to be part of this creator game again, if that's what we want to call it. For me, it's a lovely way to see what everyone create and, even if I notice a little late sometimes, what they're most proud of. I picked moments that, to me, represent the beginning of this new year… but that's not completely true. I have chosen a few moments from 2025. I had to! Since the beginning of winter, I've also created something with some new colorings. I know I don't use them enough, and I'm sorry about that. I have a random way of deciding if a coloring fits a gif or not.

Thank you to everyone who continues create and share their work. I enjoy seeing every creation you post. ❤️
