I find it really interesting how we won’t apply the same considerations to ourselves as we do to strangers. You know when you feel like being nice so you randomly compliment someone in passing? Or you see someone do something embarrassing, and instead of judging them you assume they are having a bad day and hope they know it happens to everyone? Or tell your friend that they are working so hard and remind them to rest and take care of themself? Yeah, that stuff. You are worth that stuff too. Try it. Tell yourself you have a pretty smile out of the blue. Stop judging yourself so harshly. You deserve the love you give to others.
