13. How would you propose to someone?

“Wow, Kisaragi, I don’t want to hear that from the nerd who has partner icons with his significant other.” A quick smirk. Though in a way Takane thought it was really cute but Shintaro would never hear that.

“Hm, what is you ques- WHY WOULD YOU ASK SUCH A THING???”

Takane’s mind managed to wander straight to a certain someone and her face couldn’t be any redder. “L-like I dunno? Ask? W-why do you even- ooooooh I get it!”

It was a funny trail of thought, skipping the actual proposal and heading straight to marriage and she thought of Ayano as bridesmaid and Shintaro as best man and Haruka- and her thoughts screeched to a halt for more than one reason.

“Kisaragi, please, if you wanted to ask for advice on how you could propose to Ayano-chan, you should have said so earlier. Did you get Tateyama-sensei’s blessing yet? Kano’s?”

She felt like a genius, managing to avoid answering the question and centering it around Shintaro.

23. Would you take someone back if they cheated on you?

Huh, what an odd question. Takane sometimes thought about it but only when it came up in whatever game she might have played with such a topic.

So hypothetically speaking, she wouldn’t. And then, after a but of reconsidering, she thinks, if tehy give her a really good reason, if they are truly sorry and regret it and if it is an one-time thing, then maybe yes, she would take them back.

“!!!! D-DON’T TOUCH ME YOU SNEAKY SNAKE!” Takane is especially eloquent when afraid and agitated at the same time.

(Takane really cherishes Haruka but sometimes she should not trust Haruka when food is involved.)

Witch: If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

Does world include her friends, because then she would wish for her friends to be alive and well. And be with her.

Mermaid: How far would you go to keep the one you love?

Takane can’t say for sure. Very far. As far as she can go with her own morale not endangered. If it involves innocents, she would stop, but if it involves herself, there is probably no limit.

Genie: If you had one wish that would come true and couldn’t be reversed, what would you ask for?

Mummy: If you were to fall into an eternal sleep, do you think anyone would miss you?

Her grandmother would certainly miss her. And she…does hope her friends would, too.

Zombie: Do you miss anyone right now?

Shapeshifter: What would you change about yourself?

There sometimes is a moment where Takane wishes to be taller, to be more feminine, to have a cuter face instead of this…face that looks kinda pissed when she is only having her default neutral expression. Not to say that she basically remade herself into Ene, after all. She got slightly more feminine, and her expression was cuter, too. But being back in her real body makes her realize that she is overall rather content. Though, growing a bit taller would still be nice.

Banshee: If you knew one of your loved ones/best friends had only one day left to live, how would you spend that last day with them?

(”Kano, I hate you…” Takane mumbles.)

(After throwing a tantrum about how unfair it is for her loved one/good friend to only have one day to live?)

There surely would be things the person wants to do before dying. Takane would want to make their wishes become true. Help them realize their dreams for the day. At the same time getting to spend all the time left with that person. Trying to smile all the time although she would eventually break down, she wouldn’t last until the very end but she would try and do her best.

Succubus:What’s one thing you can’t live without?

Games.

(On a more serious note, even more serious than games, it’s the friends she has bade over the past two years. And if she has to limit it to one person, then…well…….

Ghost: Do you have any regrets?

Takane has many regrets. What if she talked more to her classmates despite her illness? Would she have made more friends back then? What if she never had been ill? Would her parents be there more often? Ahh but that meant she never would have met Haruka. Thinking of Haruka, a lot of new regrets aside from happy memories arise. She should have been more attentive, less egocentric. She shouldn’t have been all about herself. She should have tried understanding Haruka more. She should have…told him. Things she thought about. A lot. 

But…she might have a chance to undo some of her regrets now, right?

“Goodbye.”

Not the daily greetings and goodbyes. Or rather…what if one goodbye ends up a ‘farewell’ instead? Takane still cannot let go easily. Not many can. Takane is not among them. But this is one thing she doesn’t regret. That is her. This is part of her. The fear of being left alone by her friends. The fear of being left by certain friends…again.
