🔯Being the Zoldyck grandma HCs🔯
There she isss hi grandmaaaa love your cloud-like ponytail!
Being a grandmother isn't easy, especially when the family structure is patriarchal to the core.
Much like Kikyo, whenever there's a big decision to take, your input is rarely take into consideration, especially if your opinions go against Zeno deems as the solution.
Although you may or may not be happy about Silva's choice in marrying Kikyo, your common experience in being disregarded did result in you two growing closer. You oftentimes chat with Kikyo over some tea, and you two rant on and on about your respective husbands.
In your younger days you were VERY strict, less than Zeno for sure, but it was necessary in order to properly raise Silva in a way that would prepare him for the hardships of being an assassin.
Unlike what the current Zoldyck mother does now, however, you could never bring yourself to torture-train your own son, which Zeno was fine with. Your role then became the one of a teacher, because being aware of what the outside world has in store, is also extremely important.
Nowadays you're a lot more lenient with your grandchildren, not just Killua, all of them get to be a little spoiled by grandma, though all of them have different reactions to your doting and small gifts.
The one who absolutely relishes in it is Milluki, he's neglected by all other members, so you acknowledging him never fails to make him feel giddy.
Illumi and Kalluto act mostly indifferent to it, they always express their gratitude of course, but you can never quite tell what's going on in their heads. In reality, they don't really feel like they're worthy of your praise and gifts, as they seem to come from nowhere and they feel like they didn't do anything to earn it.
Killua already gets enough praises and gifts from everyone else, so you adding onto that feels a bit overwhelming and annoying... but he never says 'no' to sweets, that's one thing that will always make him happy, even if he won't outwardly show it.
Unfortunately, like everyone else in the family, you haven't interacted with Alluka in a long time. You don't agree with keeping her in solitary confinement, but you also know that her power can be very dangerous if misused, you don't hate her, of course, but you don't fully grasp what she is either, and that scares you.
