“I’m not like the girls that are in my class they’re the snobby ones who would probably sass ya out if you walked in on them. I did once and one of them threw a worse tantrum than a five year old.”

“Then they should learn to lock a door or practice somewhere that isn’t surrounded by windows,” Jimin shrugged, as if this were the easiest solution. “Really? Wow...no one likes a drama queen.”

“Yeah, but her legs are so short? I just doesn’t logically make sense to me,” said Claire but with light laughter. She was so relived when Bailey came back in one piece that she almost couldn’t catch her breath. “No, thank God. I was so scared I wouldn’t find her. Yes, I’m so relieved honestly. Thank you so much for your help, Jimin.”

“Maybe someone found her and carried her then let her go?” she suggested, but even Jimin could admit how weird and unlikely of a situation that would be and at this point, it didn’t really matter since the dog was back with its owner. “I honestly didn’t even do anything. I just walked like two steps and there she was. I don’t think that’s anything you have to thank me for.”

That was a lesson Emily needed desperately to learn. She was much too kind, much too quiet, but it was just her nature. Little Emily Pierce, the kind, the gentle, the quiet, the delicate. She had feist in her, that was for sure, but that was saved for certain situations, mainly only when she felt like a loved one was being attacked or hurt. “No, no, I’m happy to do it.” She smiled, nodding. “Th-Thank you for the advice. I’m sure I could definitely use it. Never been much assertive, sadly.” She said. Emily shrugged and sighed. “How do you know I don’t deserve it?” She asked, meekly, looking down. 

Jimin simply smiled when she insisted on doing so anyway. “You should hang out more with me then! Don’t they say when you hang around a person, you start to pick up their habits? Or something like that,” she shrugged. “I don’t, but I’m going to judge a book by its cover on this one.”

Westley’s eyes glaze over, “Uh…”

“...Nevermind.”

“Hey, so did you want a drink or maybe something to eat? or are you here about the nanny job?” 

“Uh...all of the above?” Jimin shrugged. “But honestly, more so for the job.”

“Go on, I’m listening.” 

“Okay, you ready? Okay, here it goes. A couple going on vacation but his wife was on a business trip so he went to the destination first and his wife would meet him the next day.When he reached his hotel, he decided to send his wife a quick email.Unfortunately, when typing her address, he mistyped a letter and his note was directed instead to an elderly preacher’s wife whose husband had passed away only the day before.When the grieving widow checked her email, she took one look at the monitor, let out a piercing scream, and fell to the floor in a dead faint.At the sound, her family rushed into the room and saw this note on the screen: Dearest Wife, Just got checked in. Everything prepared for your arrival tomorrow.P.S. Sure is hot down here.”

Elijah was drunk, blitzed even. After his first week as a teacher he wanted to unwind and Chelsea was being taken care of by the nanny. He wasn’t sure how many beers he had and how it got to this point, but here he was on stage belting out the song the karaoke machine was playing. ( X )

Jimin couldn’t help but be amused by the man on the stage who was currently performing whatever song was playing. They clapped along to the song, although they didn’t really know it themselves and watching him perform, they had half a mind to give it a try themselves.

“Nah I was about to head out anyways, it’s alright I really have no problem with meeting new people around here.”

“Really? Well then that’s good. I imagine a lot of people wouldn’t be as nice about it if someone comes by and watches them practice, especially when they don’t know them.”

“Yeah. I still don’t even understand why something so small can run that fast,” said Claire and laughed hollowly. She probably wouldn’t be able to enjoy herself a hundred percent again until she found Bailey in one piece. “Good call, Jimin.” She nodded and headed down a new street towards the park when suddenly, out of nowhere, Bailey came sprinting towards them with a wagging tail. “Bailey!” She breathed out in relief and scooped up the dog before it could run away again. “Oh, you stupid little dog. Don’t go running off like that!”

“Because it’s full of energy...or at least, that’s what I would think,” they chuckled. Jimin followed after Claire, easily being able to keep up with her footsteps. They didn’t get too far before her dog seemed to find its way back to its owner. “Well I guess we didn’t have to go too far to find the little rascal, huh?” Jimin laughed, reaching over to pet the little dog. “At least Bailey found their way back to you.”

Emily smiled at their kindness and shrugged. “No, no. It won’t. It’ll just be on me. Least I c-could do, honestly. You’ve been very kind. You don’t get that every day here.” She said, simply. “I wouldn’t want to cause a scene. Besides, I…I’ve always been kind of quiet. Doesn’t do good to yell at people. It just sounds like I’m talking regularly.” She softly chuckled. 

Jimin smiled at the girl. “I mean, hey, I like free stuff as much as the next person, but you really don’t have to do that,” she said. “Yeah, I know what you mean. Yelling doesn’t help and makes things worse and so does violence...I’m guilty of having done both. It’s okay to be quiet but just...don’t let people walk all over you, okay? Especially if you don’t deserve it.”

Desi shook Jimin’s hand smiling softly at them, “it’s nice to meet you as well, Jimin. Your name is just as cool okay!” 

Jimin laughed, pleased at the girl’s words. “Thank you, thank you. I like my name too,” she chuckled. “I hope I’m not distracting you too much from your practice? I mean, I could just go if I am.”

“I know.” he said, knowing it was true. “Better be compliments since I’m being nice enough to let you be the first one to hear them.” Jay poked their side and chuckled lightly. 

“You know I’d tell you nothing but the truth. If it sucks, you’re gunna know, but don’t worry, I’ve heard what you’ve put out before and I’ve never had a complaint,” they nodded, chuckling a little and swatting at his hand.
