“Well how exactly do you plan to not be such a stranger to me? And truth me told, If you lock me away I just hope I get my damn nacho fries one way or anything.” She stated with a laugh.  “Besides, I’ve gone home with people from bars that felt far more like a stranger than you right now. I mean, you talked about your mom.” 

“ ---- Very decent point,” Jim nodded before returning to his door and beginning to unlock it. “But, I’m fairly certain that if I were to kidnap you and lock you away, making sure you got nacho fries would be at the bottom of my life,” He laughed as they headed back inside.

Micah followed him inside and shoved the porcupine into his arms. “There it is in all its glory. I know, I’m the raddest friend you have.” They grinned up at him. “Do you love it or hate it? Because if you hate it you can give it to a girlfriend or something. Just make sure you eat the chocolate since it’s good for you. The chocolate is in the little bag the porcupine has by the way.”

Startled by the animal shoved into his arms, Jim took a stumbled step backwards. He looked into his arms, confused, before laughing. “What a little dude,” He held it up to look over it. Two fingers at a time, Jim prodded the animal here and there. “I don’t have any sort of girlfriends right now actually,” Jim commented before looking over to Micah. “And there’s even chocolate. You read my mind,” A grin spread across his face. “...I got something for you too.”

“That’s a very naughty question and I’m not answering.”

Looking towards him after her locked the door she tilted her head. “We could always order in. Have something just brought to us. Though, that’s if you’d be inviting me to join you in the warmth. Besides, I’m sure you could use  some warming up after working on the bike.” 

Jim’s eyebrows raised slowly at Candi’s offer before turning to look at her. As he turned to face her fully, he crossed his arms over his chest. “I’m practically a stranger to you. How do you know that I’m not some creep?” He teased. “Maybe I’ve got a woman locked in my room.”

“Umhm-” The blonde hummed in response, an almost teasing glint to the edge of her smile as she caught sight of the smirk on his features. Her eye fluttered closed instantly as he leaned in for a kiss, her hand moving up to brush gently over his cheek before it slipped to the back of his neck. If anything to hold him there a few moments longer as she pressed her lips back against his. 

As Talulah reciprocated the kiss, he allowed himself to lean it a little more. The touch of her hand on his face was welcomed. Jim’s spare hand slid over and rested on her thighs as they continued to kiss for a little longer. He was acutely aware however of the breeze. “It’s probably going to get dark soon,” Jim mumbled against the kiss. He probably should have moved away fully but he didn’t want to yet. She was hot. “I should be getting you home.”

Watching his reaction she narrowed her eyes at him, a playful smirk still resting on her face though. “And what sorta guesses are you coming up with in your head to why I would be asking that, hm? Since you seem to have me figured out.” She laughed watching his wink and just shook her head. “The only thing that truly matters , food.” Pulling herself up off the couch she started moving towards the door. 

Jim continued to walk to the door. “No, no. It’s okay. I never said I had you figured out,” He shrugged his shoulders and laughed. “Yes, food,” Once they were both out, Jim made sure to lock the door behind them. “I’m a bit sad about going back into the cold, not gonna lie.”

“You can’t help what you like darling.” She said simply with a single shrug of her shoulder. “Whether it’s the top of some wild tower or a view like this. But for the record, it’s pretty nice, serene even” Talulah agreed, a light smile tugging onto the edge of her lips as she turned her head to look over at him. “Besides, it doesn’t look so bad from where I’m sitting.

Jim smiled, nodding slowly as she spoke. “I guess so, yeah,” He laughed before tilting his head. “Oh really now?” A smirk grew across his face. Jim lifted his arm to rest it along the back of the bench before sliding over. “Why don’t you tell me more about this good view?” Then without another work he leant in to press his lips to hers.

“Yo Jimbo!” Micah called out as they knocked on their friends door. “Jimbooo….I know you’re there. I did give you a warning text….” As they waited outside they fumbled with the stuffed animal in their hands. It was a few days after Valentine’s Day, and Micah figured it was cute enough to get their friend something….It was a porcupine. What was cuter than a porcupine? “I have a gift for you, dummy. If that makes you open the door faster.”

“Fuck off!” Jim yelled from the couch. He may have rolled his eyes but he laughed while doing so. “Warning text? I got no such thing,” The man continued to tease. In stark contrast to his teasing words, he was indeed heading over to the door. “A gift? Ooooh, cute! I hope it’s a chainsaw,” His laughter was probably audible through the door at this point. A grin was on his face as he opened the divider to see Micah. “Hello short-stack,” Jim beamed. “Come on in then.”

“I’m sure you don’t.” Candi just laughed as she got comfortable on his couch. Watching him she just shrugged her shoulders. “Just making small talk. There’s nothing wrong with a full bed, or empty one.” 

“Mhm,” Jim nodded slowly, smirk on his face. “Sure. I bet that’s the only reason you’re asking,” He walked over, tugging his coat on as he winked in Candi’s direction. “Come on hot rocket. Let’s go get food.”

“Oh, right my mum,” said Benjamin as he realized the thought. “Well, all I know is that every spot in the city will be either reserved or crowded. I guess it’s just a day to stay at home.“

Jim smiled and nodded. “Glad I could remind you,” He chuckled. “Oh definitely. I think if I do go out, it’ll be drinking.”
