Added to one of my little weavings. Cut out of flowers done with acrylic paint markers, PVA glue to keep it on

I made the plate by doing an engraving on a glass pane. This one really started to show me how much detail I can get with a line, those faces are so small.

Made this guy for my nephew this christmas :) It did turn out a bit different than the pattern, human error, i fear.

The first of a new series I’m working on, not sure how many paintings I’ll make for it yet.

Jomon inspired coil pot. this guy was one of my favorites to make, i’d like to make a series of them,,,,, one day

Now that I think about it the sky from the plane was in my head too, so I think that’s where the perspective came from. Cool

i used a cardboard loom for all except the second from the left on the bottom. that one was made with a helloloom.

I sized it (prepped the paper so the paint won’t run or destroy it with time) with acrylic medium before painting

I used a painting for the background and those lantern fellows were made with glycerin soaked leaves glued in transfer paper and sticks. also little electric tea lights.

it’s a little story

I’ve been enjoying putting fabric into my prints and paintings. I’m likely going to engrave a border around the edge of this plate too, manuscript style.
