first of all, yey, I love that you are vegan!

Now this is a hard question. Because it’s so broad and because I don’t know you and because, in general, it’s hard. 

I can only speak for myself…but I think the key is in your mindset. I’m going to talk here in the first person, okay? Since I struggle with this too. I needed to realise what I need and don’t need. I need to learn how to be content with my life and how to be content with little. I need to realise that I don’t need 5th pair of jeans and another dress, even though I really want to. I just don’t need it. 

To live more minimalist lifestyle, limit what you’re buying. I’m trying to buy only things I need (of course nobody’s saying that you can’t buy something you don’t need). When I want to buy something, I usually put it on a list in my phone and then I look at it a few weeks later. And if I still want it and can justify buying it, I buy it. But most of the times by the time I’m looking at it, I’ve already realised I don’t need it and I don’t want to spend money on it.

Another thing about sustainability is that if I need something, I first look at secondhand/thrift stores and try to find it there, or in some local facebook group or just looking online if somebody’s selling it secondhand. Like now, for example, I’ve been wanting a watch for quite some time now and I decided to get it. I don’t want to buy a new one, since it costs a lot and you know…carbon footprint and all that. We have this website/app in my country where people put their clothes/accessories up for sale, it’s usually secondhand (or like…worn once) and it’s cheaper. And I’ve been checking that app for like 2 weeks and I haven’t found any nice watch yet but I’ll just keep looking, since I don’t NEED them now.

Now I don’t know if that answered your question, but I guess this is where I would start. If you have another questions, please ask away. I don’t know exactly what to answer here, I could be talking about shopping locally, growing your own food, refusing plastic, making your own things etc, but I don’t know what are your personal struggles.

Am i the only one who got pissed by the fact she didn’t got to fight in the tournament and instead did the chearleader? I don’t do fan arts often, but i want to get better at handling japanese model sheets

I finally got clearance to show my rough animation from Castlevania! I did a lot of animation for this show so I’m going to release these through several posts each week, starting with this one.

Here’s my rough animation for cyclops sequence from Castlevania. I got to storyboard this sequence as well, which was a first for me. Up until then I’d never had that level of control over anything I’d worked on in the animation industry.
