Jiea Rutland Simpson is a health care information professional. She has a passion for building communities, marketing ideas and fostering relationships. Jiea was exposed to the pharmaceutical industry at a young age. She attended the historically black women's school Spelman College where she graduated with a degree in Biology. Jiea Rutland Simpson has a wide range of experience. Working in hospitals exposed her to the critical role of electronic medical records within the healthcare industry. As a service line administrator and physician relationship manager, Jiea Rutland Simpson regularly collaborates with hospitals, physicians and local clinics to achieve the best solutions for their patients. She acts as a both a customer advocate and company advocate by facilitating communication between the customer, the vendor, and other involved stakeholders. With skills of prediction and flexibility, she identifies and executives operational improvements for overall success. Jiea is tremendously influential wherever she goes. Jiea Rutland Simpson now resides in Harlingen, Texas. She travels often. Most recently, she has ventured to Panama and Costa Rica. In Panama she visited the historic Panama Canal and visited the Bastimentos beaches. In Costa Rica Jiea tasted delicious coffee and visited a jaguar rescue preserve. In addition to travel, Jiea Rutland Simpson is involved in the fundraising world. She runs the Leukemia & Lymphona half marathon, raising money for the society by asking various individuals for fiscal donations.
