Né en 1987 à Port-au Prince (Haïti), Jého-Nephtey Abraham dit Jho-Bram développe une passion pour l'image dès son plus jeune âge. A 22 ans, il suit des cours à Port-au-Prince au Centre d'Etude Photographique et Cinématographique (CEPEC) tout en poursuivant des études en sciences du langage à la Faculté de Linguistique Appliquées de l’Université d’Etat d’Haïti (UEH). En 2010, alors qu'un tremblement de terre meurtrier frappe le pays, il s'en sort indemne et part une caméra au cou sur des scènes horribles de douleurs. En 2011, il est l'un des participants sélectionnés pour l'Atelier Photographique animé par le photographe de renommée internationale David Damoison à Port-au-Prince. L'Atelier photographique fut pour lui une révélation. L'harmonisation des lignes, l'importance de la lumière et de la forme deviennent de plus en plus une préoccupation première, autant que les sujets traités. Passionné par la photographie artistique, son travail aborde des thèmes comme l'environnement, le chaos urbain de la ville, la danse, et bien d'autres encore. Plus récemment ses participations à l'exposition «Ma cantine en ville» à Paris, France et à la foire artistique « Arte popular do Haiti » au Brésil, lui ont permis d'acquérir une solide expérience professionnelle au niveau de la photographie.
