Like. you think "oh okay he's a bit odd but harmless" but then he Just Keeps Going with this strange cheerfulness that becomes more n more repressive. It .... irritates me how often ppl will dismiss these characteristics that make these characters more interesting. if you've ever been around a man like this , it just gets so uncomfortable and hard to say No . Especially when u know they're not being malicious in their intensity and it comes from a place of refusing to acknowledge that times moved on . It's so guilt inducing to say No and say it's uncomfortable it's like looking at a kicked dog T B H
