Lady Hightower had finally made it to Winterfell. Her journey had been long and arduous, anxiety plaguing her the entire time. What was her Uncle Lyonel thinking? An attack on Dorne? As the news broke, Jeyne had immediately made arrangements to leave the Reach, refusing to become collateral damage in yet another scheme concocted by the men in her family. She wouldn't stand for any of them ruining her future with the disgrace that was surely soon to befall her family.
So to the North she went, determined to show where her allegiance resided. Hopefully, the Starks wouldn't turn their backs on her, especially Edrick. If they did, who knew what fate should fall upon her shoulders? Stepping out of her carriage, Jeyne took a deep breath, bolstering herself with courage. A footman announced her presence as her eyes flicked to Edrick, her eyes silently pleading with him not to turn her away.

Born the second child and first daughter of the Ruling Lord Hightower, Jeyne entered a tumultuous family situation. As the lord and his wife were struggling to conceive, the lord cheated on his wife and found himself a mistress to provide an heir. A child was born of their union, a son, who would be the elder brother of Jeyne. The lord had this son legitimized as he was unsure whether his wife would be able to bear him children. Lady Hightower did go on to birth three children, the first of which was Jeyne followed by another girl and a son (a son that many believe to be the rightful heir of the Hightower).
Despite their differing parentage, Jeyne always treated all her siblings equally regardless of the tension between their mothers. In her eyes, they are all family and she loves each of them dearly.
Her relationship with her father is precarious. They are not close by any means. She sees him as a ruthless man but she does as she is told to keep the peace. Her father is intent on marrying her off to raise his social status. Currently he has arranged a betrothal between her and one of the Stark Princes. Despite it not being an arrangement born of love, Jeyne is intent on making the best of it.
Surprisingly she has grown quite fond of Prince Edrick Stark and believes that she can have a happy future with him regardless of her father's meddling.
Currently, Jeyne is disgusted by the actions of her uncle Lord Lyonel Tyrell with his attacks on the Reach and alliance with those from Slaver's Bay. As a result she has fled the south and has made her way to Winterfell where she hopes to reside under the protection of the Starks. She does not wish to be collateral damage in her family's ploys and is thus making her allegiance crystal clear.
