Would you settle for anything less than the MOST influential law code?
You shouldn't have to!
Starting from just added commentary on the Tur to cite some omitted sources, this code evolved into something much greater. Rav Yosef Caro of the late fifteenth to early sixteenth century has included ALL known sources containing different traditions. You can get two traditions for the price of one! Though it was originally written for Sephardic Jews, the Shulchan Arukh now includes Ashkenazi traditions as well thanks to Rabbi Moshe Isserles! Within the four broad sections identical to the Tur, you can refine your search by choosing from one of the סימנים or even further specify with סעיפים! The Shulchan Arukh began with humble beginnings as an obscure law code but now it is widely accepted! A must have for every modern tshuva to study and cite! Knights of the round table? More like scholars of the long table!
