adding a readmore for anyone that wants to read my thoughts & rambles about this piece that i meant to post for the anniversarry but accidentally procrastinated too long _(:3」∠)_

originally came up with the idea for this in 2025, and according to clipstudio i spent roughly 12,5h total working on it

the position of the portrait frames is supposed to mimic the yyxy logo and is connected with rose stems (roses being prominent in the MV)

chose painting frames specifically as a reference to the 'one' lore video

closeups of the portraits (gowon was the one that gave me the most trouble but i think ended up looking the best, which is fitting considering she is my bias in the group):

was also thinking of adding plaques of their associated emotions (again in reference to the 'one' lore video) but ended up not doing that ... added frame embelishments of their representative fruits and animals instead

the red accents in the bushes are a callback to the effect that appears prominently in the MV

the upside down arch that frames the whole drawing is also a reference to yyxy being the "inverse" of loona
