Indeed. The ghosts that then haunt you intensely when you are 6 months before age 30 and you are going what??? Why now? XD;;;

I’m not surprised when the Bible offends the world and they rebuff it, but when professing Christians are offended by Scripture - that’s confounding. If you say you follow Christ, but want nothing to do with the whole counsel of God, you’re choosing to deceive yourself. You cannot pick and choose what truths in the Bible you believe and follow; that’s to put yourself in the place of God as being the overseer of what is truth.

You forgot the “One of these days someone’s gonna ask me for some strange obscure instrument, and it ain’t gonna be there.” When he was asked for a piccolo in the football x-7 episode. And the one where he sprayed the huge tooth roller coaster in space harpy repellent. And my personal favorite, when it was revealed that Buford has life sized molds of every single person he knows.

And the fact that he carried a canoe or whatever through the entire Candace Against the Universe movie and that it ended up being helpful to the plot in the end xD

I love this series!!!! And these are such good interpretations of the characters!

Yes. And to add to that, humans will always fail, we all need God. Without God, we can do nothing. Humans will never reach a level of perfection outside of God. He is the only one who can truly rescue us from ourselves. But because of free will, we have a choice to let go and allow him to work in us and use us for His glory. If we let go of our thoughts and give Him our hearts and mind both, the Holy Spirit can do amazing things in us. We are still human and will still make mistakes but we will begin to naturally be more Christ-like the more time we spend in the presence of the Holy Spirit. This to me is amazing. We are not limited by our humaness. If we believe in God and choose to follow Him, we can do amazing things through Christ.
