i haven’t been into bts since like 2016 and honestly these albums are just sitting on my shelf unappreciated. ebay is a damn headache and having someone trust me to pay to my paypal account is asking a lot so i thought, why not just give them away? and so here we are.

It’s okay to point out when your fave has done something problematic.

It’s how people change.

When you point something out not only are bringing it to light to the idol, but many people who may not know why what the person has done is problematic.

You speaking out about problematic issues in the kpop community is so important. It spreads awareness around a huge community regardless of the topic.

If people want to turn a blind eye and not listen just know they are millions more waiting for one person to start a conversation on something whether that is a protective hairstyle, race comments, homophobia or anything that may offend people.

Someone’s culture is not a prop.

Someone’s sexuality is not a prop.

Someone’s religion is not a prop.

Also, it’s okay to forgive an idol when they apologise for their problematic behaviour. People grow from mistakes and become much more aware of what they have done. If an idol continues that behaviour it’s okay to walk away.

What is not okay is bringing up someone’s past problematic behaviour when your idol is in hot water for doing something offensive.

The past is the past. It’s something we can’t change. But, we can change the future and talk about subjects that need to be spoken about. You know what? let’s talk about the topics regardless.

SUGA INTRODUCING JHOPE

A lovely person. Actually, I am most thankful that I can rely on him even though he’s younger. I think he also helped me relieve my stress. Yeah, really … So I’m thankful for him in that aspect. Actually for Jimin. Jimin looks happy. I hope Jimin will find his happiness this year as well and have fun”.

“Now I will be introducing JIN! You pretty much know everything about him. He is the most handsome guy in BTS. Before Jhope said that although Jimin is younger than him sometimes Jimin is like a big brother to him. This guy is older but he is like a little brother to me. During our early days, we made fun of him saying that he looks awkward. But he is very good at many things actually. He is good at driving, snowboarding … important in life. The more I get to know him, I think 'he is really like a big brother’. I see more things to learn from him. Among the songs, we are working on right now. There is a song Jin is recording. He was amazing with the song. He made it entirely his own. So I am very thankful for that. Because I love that song. I think Jin really is a genuine person. Proving his real worth! Well, he is like that. Jin, I know that you already know yourself pretty well. I think you will be our secret weapon as long as you keep yourself up. Just like you do now. Jin! “I’m introducing my friend Jungkook. My friend Jungkook. He is got a good physique. He works out so he is got a good physique.  And Jungkook got the best voice in Korea as long as I am concerned. whenever I am troubled. Jungkook just walks in and just sit there and listen to me. then he tells me what he thinks and it really helps me a lot. He is really like a big brother in some ways.  I hope Jungkook can work out as much as he wants and be happy. *hugs jungkook*”

JUNGKOOK INTRODUCING SUGA

“Suga is difficult~ difficult~ *shows his crumpled paper* You can tell how tormented I am!.  Let me introduce my friend Suga. Uhm … Suga may seem … helpless from the outside *nervous* He may seem nervous from the outside but he is very sensitive and sweet. There are seven of us. Whenever one of us is feeling low or depressed it really affects us a lot. Recently, Suga has been in an upbeat mood. He is very talkative, loud even. Before I used to think that he is just loud. I am so thankful that he is in an upbeat mood like that. Whatever he does I hope he will be happy most of the times. I hope he doesn’t pretend like he is strong. tell any one of us. Whoever it is. I just hope we will always be happy together”

one son, his little baby boy, the brightest star in his life

kim vernon, five years old

namjoon is going to raise such a sweet, intelligent, well-rounded kid

he understands that vern is just a kid, but joon doesn’t dumb things down to him

he’s always earnest and explains things as throughout as he can

and vernon is a curious little bub so he’s always asking questions about anything and everything

he looks at namjoon like he hung the moon himself

his dad is his number one role model, his idol, his confidant

and he loves his mom too, don’t get it wrong, but he’s got a special father-son connection with his dad that he just loves so much he loves joon

the three of you are such a precious, happy little family

vernon doesn’t even complain that he doesn’t have any younger siblings because he gets to spend more time with the both of you

and he has the other members’ kids to hang out with

frequent walks around the city with the both of you

joon likes holding vern’s hand and it’s adorable because joon is so tall and vernon is so small

namjoon always encourages all of his endeavors and interests and to explore the world

he wants to teach his kid that all he has to be is himself and that’s enough

and i think joon is probably the best teacher for that

so vernon is always curious, open-minded, and level-headed

he’s really just a tiny joon rip

and i say tiny relatively speaking because he is just a kid but namjoon’s genes look pretty strong so i wouldn’t be surprised if his kid grew exponentially lmao

even if you’re a bit on the shorter end, vernon probably won’t be

kid’s gonna grow to be all legs like his dad

but for right now, joon is the super tall one in the family, so vernon like’s holding on him

i mean physically clinging onto joon and taking advantage of his height

whether it be piggy back rides

or having his dad spin him around

or lifting him up

they tried the whole sitting on his shoulder thing but you’ve learned since then that that method is… dangerous for everyone involved

they’re both bright, but they’re also equally as clumsy

also has joon’s dimples

so yes he’s the cutest kid to ever grace the earth

joon’s the type of dad to lay on the ground in an old white t-shirt and let is kid draw all over it

if you thought namjoon had an overgrown collection of ryan plushes, then you should meet kim vernon

he LOVES plush pillows more than namjoon

which means namjoon finds any excuse to buy some for him

plushies for his birthday

after piano recitals

when he comes back from tour/promotions

on the first day of school

just for the heck of it

he loves buying him plush pillows

you know that pic of tae on joon’s bed and you can see all the ryan pillows surrounding him

yeah that’s vernon bed times ten

the kid could sleep on the pillows, cover himself with them, and still have thirty more chilling around the bed post

nap time with them is the best because you’re just surrounded by a million soft, cute, character pillows

the kid’s a cuddler

he’ll cuddle up to you in the middle of the kitchen

he’ll cuddle up to joon in the middle of rehearsal

he’ll cuddle up to any of the member’s on a long car ride

he’s just a soft boy who likes to be cuddled when he’s tired )):

vernon also becomes an official part of kim daily

joon dresses the in matching outfits then has a whole photoshoot with him

sometimes he even let’s vern pick out the outfits

his color coordination needs some work, but he’s getting there

jin’s kid is a little bit older than vernon, but the two get along the best

which means frequent visits from uncle jin in the kim household

seunghae is vernon’s best friend and jin is vernon’s favorite uncle, so you guys see a lot of each other

uncle jin always lets him stir the batter when they make cake

and he always lets him be the taste tester

plus uncle jin makes the best ramen, of course he’s his favorite uncle

and don’t tell jin, but taehyung has also earned a special spot in little vern’s heart

uncle tae is also the driving force behind his growing love for fashion and taking pictures

and if for some reason tae can’t get his own twins to be kid models, better believe he’ll do it to namjoon’s

and for once, namjoon is grate for that tae’s undying love for the cyphers because he once sent him a video of vernon dancing around and trying to rap along and it’s easily one of his favorite things in the entire world

vernon takes up after joon’s interest in music, too

he might not aspire to be a rapper quite like his dad, but he loves coming to the studio with him and learning about how music is made

and playing with the sound board and voice effects

he thinks it’s cool that his dad gets to make songs

and he loves all of his music so so much

even the tracks that don’t make it onto the albums, vernon just like listening to his dad’s music

so if the song doesn’t get approved by the label, joon keeps it anyway and sometimes plays it in the car for vern

even if it’s just the instrumental bc his son is easily his biggest fan

when joon’s birthday comes around one year, he asks you and uncle yoongi to help him make a song because he wants to impress his dad and give him something really special

so he uses a poem that he wrote in school and it sounds like a children’s book with a sickest baseline in the background (thanks yoongi)

but it’s the cutest, sweetest gesture ever

and joon cries on the spot when he hears it and hugs him for six days straight

it makes joon so happy that he inspires his son and that he loves him enough to try and write a song for him

and vernon is happy too because his dad is happy and proud of him (:

ok so one more little kim family tidbit

ever since his was a newborn, namjoon has read vern to sleep

and it’s something that kind of sticks with him, even when he gets to be a little too old to be read a bedtime story

sometimes when all of bangtan and their kids get together, joon sees vern reading the younger kids to sleep

and when joon couldn’t be there because of touring or whatever, he would facetime in and read to him from his hotel room

it’s something that vern always looks forward too even when he gets to be a little older

min yoongi didn’t go through clinical depression and social anxiety disorder, neglect his studies for music and get no support from anyone but still do music, for you to call him useless and lazy.

jung hoseok didn’t wake up early in the morning to skip school and go to dance practices to distract himself from his mental conflicts and work so hard to get recruited, for you to call him a sidekick.

kim seokjin didn’t leave an entire field of his potential acting career to give music a chance, work his brains out to practice singing because he was recruited when he had no background of music, for you to call him talentless or “only a visual”.

park jimin didn’t grow up comparing himself to others, work hard to maintain his grades at school and work harder to practice contemporary dancing, starve himself to be an idol and skip breaks to practice singing and dancing for you to call him “overrated”.

kim taehyung did not come to seoul wearing a fancy jacket his mom gave him so “the city boys wouldn’t judge him” because he came from a poor family, sit near trashcans as he watched the rest practice and vlog because he wasn’t revealed as a member, for you to say he’s “just weird” and isn’t talented.

jeon jungkook did not leave his family, friends, education and his entire childhood behind and come to seoul at the age of 13 to pursue music when he wasn’t even sure he could, grow up thinking he had to wear masks in front of people and battle social anxiety, for you to paint him in a bad light and call him rude when he really isn’t whatsoever, and call him overrated.

bts did not go through so fucking much, come from a small entertainment company where they trained and put everything on the line despite being told it was useless and they were nothing, look for people that would attend their concerts, give their everything to the army, make so many contributions towards, not only the music industry but also towards humanity and the youth of our generation, spread love and stand strong and handle all situations maturely and professionally despite all the unnecessary hate, criticism, death threats they had gotten, work their asses off, starve themselves and sacrifice their sleep to practice and maintain their personal lives and give back to their family, society and friends for you to say they are “just a group of good looking boys with a fandom of a bunch of crazy teenage girls” and for you to call them overhyped.
