Brian Auger’s Oblivion Express ‎– A Better Land (1971)

You don’t have to be 9 feet tall to play this gargantuan arcade game, but it would certainly help. This is the Arcade Deluxe and it was just declared the World’s Largest Arcade Machine by Guinness World Records. To better appreciate just how big it is, notice that the colossal game is flanked by two regular size arcade cabinets that look like toys in comparison.

Built over the course of two years by Chicago-based arcade fanatic Jason Camberis, the fully functional machine measures over 14 feet tall and nearly 3.5 feet deep. The Arcade Deluxe features over 200 classic arcade games that are played using giant buttons, joysticks that look like automobile stick shift levers, and a 16 inch glass track bal. A step ladder would probably come in handy too.
