i was the waves, and you were the shore, i kissed your skin, you said no more. i folded back into myself, retreating from your rejection, leaving my mark upon you, as i leave i hear an objection. you call out for me, and i come racing, i break down on my way there, yet as i come up to you i see you bracing. you throw me back into myself, making me go in a circle, of leaving and coming to you, and its always just as hurtful. in the end i was the waves, and you were the shore, i kissed your skin, and you said no more.

There will always be a date, a movie, a smell, a place or a song, that reminds you of them.

Just because you miss the feeling they gave you doesn’t mean you miss them.
