Wooo!
Five years ago today, this blog was started to bring you all your Avatar & Korra updates, and what a five years it has been! To put it into perspective, on September 6th, 2013, Book 2 of Korra hadnât started airing yet. Yeah. Time flies. But since then, weâve had so much cool stuff to report on and discuss and freak out over, and itâs still full steam ahead with so much more awesome stuff coming our way!

The reality of Instagram Modeling
This is important.
The Legend of Korra: Pro-bending Arena @ Gen Con 50
So this past weekend was Gen Con 50, and a prototype of IDW Gamesâ upcoming Legend of Korra game, Pro-bending Arena was demoed! In this table-top board game, the Future Industries Fire Ferrets and the White Falls Wolfbats go head to head in Republic Cityâs favorite sporting event.
At least 18 figurines of the pro-benders were displayed: Korra, Mako, and Bolin for the Fire Ferrets and Tahno, Ming, and Shaozu for the Wolfbats. And they. Look. Amazing. The details are gorgeous, the characters are on-model, the and the poses and bending look awesome! In the first image above is a compilation of all the figurines that were obviously Korra. The other characters are harder to tell apart from the available pictures and angles, hopefully we get some nice closeups soon!
As well as this, the game features some cool artwork on the board and various cards and game pieces. We got a clear look at the Wolfbats team card and it looks really nice, plus Tahnoâs expression is golden and iconic. Unfortunately we still havenât been able to see the Fire Ferretsâ faces in full, but fear not, because weâll definitely be able to see themâ and everything elseâ when the official Kickstarter launches on September 6th!

Arya started playing the âgame of facesâ as soon as she entered the room
The game consists in making a lie sound like a truth.Â
Aryaâs lie became obvious the moment she said she wondered what it would feel like to âwear those pretty dressesâ and âbe the lady of Winterfellâ. Arya would never do such as wearing dresses and she has never before expressed any wish to rule over anything, not even her home.Â
The moment Arya handed her sister the blade (pointed towards her stomach and not Sansaâs) the game was over and she hinted that what she said (the âthreatâ) was a lie. ARYA WOULD NEVER KILL SANSA.
Arya did this not because she âdespisesâ or fully mistrusts Sansa, but because she doesnât trust LF. SHE IS WELL AWARE THAT LF IS THE ENEMY.
Arya was playing the game and winning, and youâre all bitching about her being just a murderous psychopathÂ
