"And here you didn’t strike me as the destiny and fate kinda guy Jean” The blonde teased, glancing over with amber eyes to the boy beside herself. Though she couldn’t help but admit, the situation was rather coincidental to not have some sort of hand played in it by whatever higher power might exist. 

"Perhaps you’re right though, maybe it’s best for the current situation if you and I weren’t around for a few days…." She mused aloud, glancing to the window at the changing scenery that was passing by outside. International Relations had been merely an elective for the blonde, and yet here she’d found herself selected from her grades to represent Sunset University at a conference a few hours away from campus, joining her was none other than Jean. She didn’t know the boy all that personally but she knew all that she needed to from what Levi had told her. 

Though her words only settled an almost uncomfortable atmosphere around them and she chuckled, forcing a smile back to her face as he turned her attention once more back to the tall boy that sat beside her.

"But besides that, we’re going to have fun on this trip! Our hotel is right near a big shopping district and the night life is supposed to be amazing! We earned it for being clever so we might as well enjoy it!" She insisted, a look of determination flashing on her features.

"I can be philosophical when I want." A lopsided smirk found it's way onto his face as he moved his gaze towards his companion. "Don't get me wrong though, I don't usually get into that stuff - made an exception for this, though."

Jean had never expected to find himself on any kind of trip, much less one for school, and much much less one with some girl he barely knew aside from the occasional word here and there. But it wasn't such a bad thing after all - he wasn't particularly keen to lurking around campus with people like Eren and Levi on the loose, especially considering the happenings between them.

guys wtf??? i have so many replies to do this is ridic. i'll slowly power thru them in the next couple of days/weeks/months/years.. haha.
