There is a term called “usage rights” in photography. It definitely doesn’t hurt to read up on this. In regards to your situation I think it is a matter of what makes more sense to you and how attached to the photos in question you are. Hope this helps! 

i dreamt of this place. not just finding it, but how to get in. and it turned out to be exact, months later. my dreams (nightmares) are always mega intense, for once i’m thankful for it.
