Faith, hope and love looms behind teenage angst. It is not easy as the young retain its inner core after the overwhelming success in music competitions. Many participates are forgotten when the TV's headlights are off. Or so they suffer unbearable hubris. But some people have a unique ability to extend their musical life, holding onto their soul and manages to express a broader spectrum of life's colors. Ulrik Munther, who won Lilla Melodifestivalen 2009, is one of those artists. He is a good example of that maturity and depth does not have to do with age. He is the young boy with hats who now passed 20 years.

The new project is a genuine and close cooperation with Jonas Gardell, who sat words to the tunes. Munthers proximity to the text he sings suggests that the interaction with Gardell is based on a mutual exchange of life experience, even if Gardell is the one who eventually formulated the thoughts together into one unit. The pervasive feeling is deep and almost a bit religious. It is as if the lines is about a dream to be loved and to love while they could be directed to a god.

The science that there is always faith, hope and love somewhere can be difficult to embrace when adult life threatening clouds of inexhaustible demands around the corner. The songs appear as an open and honest depiction of teens conflicting emotions, an emotional rollercoaster between opposites like pride and inferiority, longing for death and lust for life.
