The Ashour and Shehab families are related families currently living in Ghazzah. Amal Ashour is recovering from a c-section while caring for her two young children and her ill elderly parents. As well as this, her husband Mo'tasem is injured and needs treatment. The Shehab family includes 8 people, including a number of children and their elderly grandmother.

The war in Ghazzah hasn't truly ended, and both families are in danger from bombing, hunger, illness, and harsh cold.
