When you turn on the news just to see another empty headline,

we say protect trans kids.

When you read about states that ban the talk of us in schools,

we say protect trans kids.

When they spread hateful jabs instead of just flat out saying they want us dead,

we say protect trans kids.

When we’re not viewed as human beings,

those jokes cost lives.

Your prejudice kills.

We have to continue speaking up on it because no one else will.

“Oh bless your heart!” “It’s not that bad” “Don’t feed the trolls” “Why the constant victim complex?” “None of it will stick” “This too shall pass” “Focusing on it in your posts can harm others with depression” 🙄 Believe me we all already see it EVERYWHERE - I am so done with ANYONE that tries to minimize what trans people are going through right now. I am done with anyone that wants to silence our warnings for any reason. Over 300 anti trans bills introduced, wonderful people being labeled as groomers, being harassed for existing, having our livelihoods taken away, our medication taken away, our homes sold to move to safer states or communities only to have laws introduced by bigots in those communities. We are under constant attack, constant threat, violent people are being emboldened and literal f a s c i s t s have made it to the highest branches of government in the US. But no.. let’s just “not worry so much.” A melding of political, religious, authoritarian and racist extremists has taken a larger foothold of our country. I will not be silent about it.

As most of us know who we are attracted to and our gender identity is completely separate, The Genderbread Person.  This easy to see in with cisgender persons who are Lesbian or Gay.  But some just to keep ignoring the factual evidence pushing their own beliefs.

You have enough to worry about just understanding your gender identity.  Put that first.  When you feel more comfortable with who you are and how you present to the world then who you are attracted too will become more obvious.
