I Identify Jellyfish

I identify jellyfish species in posts.

My profile picture features a White-Spotted Jellyfish Phyllorhiza Punctata, and my favorite jellyfish of all time is the Giant Phantom Jellyfish Stygiomedusa Gigantea.

Geez Louise, that's a tough one ! It barely even looks like a jelly at all !

I'd say maybe a sea nettle, and if so, probbaly an Atlantic Sea Nettle (Chrysaora quinquecirrha) based on the coloring. Or a blob of white dye in water, not sure.

Hi, I've got a bit of an unconventional jelly ID question! As someone who is extremely normal about jellies I have plastered way too many of these really cute stickers from @pikaole all over my laptop! They are very clearly based on different species, but they aren't listed anywhere, and I genuinely have no idea what the 5th one in the top row is? It definitely looks Rhizostomeae but I went through the Wikipedia page and could not find anything similar 🥲. I would have guessed maybe it was supposed to be a fried egg jelly but that's already in here, so idk? I'm probably just missing an obvious one, but any ideas what it could be? I've had them for like a year and I've been slowly going insane trying to figure it out lol

Hello ! First off, these are really cool stickers.

Second off, I would agree with you that it seems like a fried egg jelly ! The circle inside the bell is a very recognizable characteristic of that species, and while the other one is also probably a fried egg jelly, that doesn't mean there can't be two of them (I think).
