YOU CAN'T STOP A RIOT IN THE 90S

Artfight is nearly over, which means it's finally time I come out of my one month leave off Tumblr to present you with the attacks (including one friendly fire) I drew for the competition. Remember how I said in my previous post I had one more announcement to give this month? Well this is it. For the third year in a row, me and my Polychrome Quay characters are going to be participating in Art Fight! Maybe by the end of the competition, I'll have a triple winning streak for my team :O

LUCA: 5 YEARS OF PRIDE (6/6)

It's the last artwork for the collection, and it's Ciccio! I decided for him to give his fashion design the early-mid 90s treatment, complete with some bubbly flower motifs, a puffy visor and some heelys to suit his outgoing, wannabe-popular attitude. Might've made the sleeves too poofy tho lol.

I could not leave Ercole's (Former) sidekicks out of this project, so here's one of them with his design! For some reason I like to picture Guido as a quiet but more artsy person outside of the movie canon (I guess because he has less lines than Ciccio???), so I went all in giving his fashion some boho-chic inspiration with additional late 60s hippie vibes.

Ercole (AKA: Signor Vespa) is the next artwork up for viewing! I thought about giving his fashion a ton of 70s disco vibes because I believe it shows that through all of this flaws (The probably a thousand of them), he can still project absolute glamour. And you can call bluff on this but asshole or not, there is no way he's cishet. Just saying.

Giulia has arrived! Gave her fashion lots of 80s country influence this time around because of her feisty, energetic and adventurous characteristics. Had some trouble with her hairstyle however so I fixed that by giving her a new one that still kept true to it's original puffy look.

Silenzio Bruno, Alberto is up next! Wanted to really go for something that suited his personality (Much like with all of my other designs), so I gave his fashion a punk/2000s emo scene vibe to it.

It's that time of the year again, and what better way to celebrate five years of this amazing gay sea monster, his world and the brilliant people behind his story than to have the characters dress up in some extravagant fashions and pose in front of pride flags that match their colour palettes; all on pride month!

Got another art block so I redrew a humanised version of my late 2000s teen popstar Sesame Street OC, with plans to redraw her original muppet design and post it in a reblog next since I'm still not very confident in my muppet drawing skills. For those who aren't caught up with her biography, here's some brief info.

The last four Sesame Street humanised designs are here, making the collection finally complete! This also means I can get a proper sleep schedule at last since I sometimes work on these drawings until two or three in the morning. Whilst it's definitely going to be a long time before I do something on a scale like this again, I still want to once again thank you guys for your patience and support. No matter how exhausting this may be, it's always very fun and rewarding in the end.

Another batch of humanised Sesame Street designs completed, which now includes some characters from international media. I'm not gonna lie, I think trying to finish so many of these on a daily basis is starting to mess with the quality of my work and my sleep schedule. Thankfully we've only got one set of humanised drawings to go, so stay tuned!
