He giggles wildly at that, "I'd hate to replace you there too, you didn't take it well the first time" He muses as he stares at the man, lips twitching into a smile despite the fact he truly didn't find joy in the situation

"ah, okay i get you." He sighs out, though his jaw clenches at the joker-ified laugh. "I know youre not gunna listen to me, Junior, but things are gunna go one of two ways. Youll either get caught just intime for a huge winter storm to hit Gotham. Youll be left with freezing showers, barely warm food, and people taking turns to shove pills down your throat like a sick dog."

"or You come with me, and you get hot water on demand, warm food, and no one forcing you to take pills. But hey, you can think on that for abit."

he turns, waving as he starts to walk out of the alley. "You can figure out where to find me, youre a smart kid."

He groans at that, looking down at the alleyway before grabbing an empty beer can. He winds his arm back and throws it at his head.

"I-I'll go with you, you fucker" He says as he skips over, giggling madly. He runs a hand through the hair he freshly dyed after this type he escaped Arkham

It hits him, of course it does, the kid was robin. At least it doesn't hit him in the eye...

He chuckles at the swear. He hums, ushering the kid out of the alleyway and leading him to where one of the safe houses were. "What do you wanna eat, kid?" he looks back at the green-haired kid. "Whats your freedom meal?"

He thinks, unsure of what his answer is. He could barely remember what he would eat outside of Arkham. Or the generous care of the Joker.

“I way what I can get, flavour profile doesn’t really matter at Arkham…I’m sure you know that”

Tim gets to the safe house after almost an hour and a half, his green hair was dripping slightly from the rain

Dick, having gotten back from the store and getting the scarecrow toxin Tim needed - still in the Nightwing costume for the Toxin - not long before Tim arrived, looked up from the counter where he was chopping some veggies, a salad of some sort in the making.

"Hey kid, you're all wet... Would you like to take a quick shower? Or just dry off and change into way comfier clothing?"

Dick set the knife down on the cutting board where tomatoes laid half cut, a bowl filled with lettuce, chopped carrots, and onions sat nearby, and walked towards the younger man, wiping his hands on a hand towel

He looks around the room, quiet giggles leaving him. It had been a fear response that was literally beaten into him, no matter what he was feeling, if he felt it strongly he'd be giggling. He knew it put people on edge, given how similar it was to the Jokers giggles

"Hm yeah shower sounds nice, you have the uhh toxins?"

He stares up at Dick, pushing the hair back

"I do. Would you like to take it before or after your shower?"

Dick replied as he set the colorful hand towel down on the nearby table and reached towards a small backpack that hung on the back of the closest chair, unzipped it, and brought out a thing of Scarecrow toxin, holding onto it tightly so it doesn't fall out of his hands.

He looks back towards Tim, keeping an eye on the other, eyes soft.

"shower first"

He mumbles as he stares at it, he could hear Junior in his head, telling him to grab it and run. But he stayed where he was, at war with himself. Maybe this wasn't a good idea

Dick took a moment to study Tim, noticing the hesitation. He sat the jar down on the table, making sure it was as far away from the edge as possible so that if anyone knocked into it, it wouldn't fall onto the floor and release the gas, and walked towards Tim, hesitant to place a hand on the others' shoulder, unsure if Tim wanted the contact, but instead scratched the back of his neck.

"If you want, I can show you to the bathroom. No one besides me uses this space, but that's besides the point. I'll also drop off a T, sweater, and some sweat pants that belong to me."

He nods and follows Dick to the bathroom, he wanted to get out of his wet clothes. He looks around the safe house as they walk. It was bare, that was to be expected. In the back of his mind Tim could remember the safe houses he had stayed in before all this happened. That felt like decades ago now

Not too long after, they arrived at a door, which was shut, Dick turned the handle and opened it up. It wasn't the most decorative, only a few hanging potted plants, small enough so as not to make the bathroom feel too crowded, a soft corpet next to the bathtub, the shower head above said tub sat infront of them. Soaps lined the shelves, a cabinet, sat behind the door, filled with clean towels and washcloths. A toilet sat next to a sink, in between was a trash can, and across from the sink were more shelves and an empty hamper for dirty clothes and towels, some candles sat on the shelf, unlit, a few bath salts, and bath bombs sat in a basket on the shelf, aswell as a few hand soaps, facial care items, and other toiletries.

"Welp, here you are, I'll stop by the bedroom to grab some of the clothes I mentioned earlier. You take as long as you need, alright? If you need anything, just yell out for me. Sound good?"

Feeling a little braver, Dick laid a hand on Tim's shoulder, giving him a small smile and the shoulder a quick squeeze before he headed down the hall towards the bathroom.

He looks around, a bit overwhelmed by all the choices. He knew before all this happened luxury was something he had been raised in. But in Arkham he barely had 5 minutes to shower, and it was always freezing cold.

He nods at Dicks words, staring at the blue eyes. He remembered when his eyes used to be blue. Now they were a dull grey, similar to storm clouds. He supposed there was something poetic that could be drawn from that. He chose not to think about it too hard

At the hand on his shoulder he freezes. He wasn’t used to gentle touch, even before this happened he was often left to his own devices. He distantly remembered Bruce saying something about him being touched starved. Though when he came back to Bruce the man could barely look at him, let alone hold him like he was something worth being held.

Do you think you'd ever forgive Bruce for putting you in Arkham?

No. I understand he thought I was a danger, however, putting me in Arkham did not help. It was a cop out, he did not wish to care for me after everything that happened and that is his own choice.

I'd invite you to stay in my apartment, but I have others over at the moment, and I don't have enough room to house 5 people.

Tim gets to the safe house after almost an hour and a half, his green hair was dripping slightly from the rain

Dick, having gotten back from the store and getting the scarecrow toxin Tim needed - still in the Nightwing costume for the Toxin - not long before Tim arrived, looked up from the counter where he was chopping some veggies, a salad of some sort in the making.

"Hey kid, you're all wet... Would you like to take a quick shower? Or just dry off and change into way comfier clothing?"

Dick set the knife down on the cutting board where tomatoes laid half cut, a bowl filled with lettuce, chopped carrots, and onions sat nearby, and walked towards the younger man, wiping his hands on a hand towel

He looks around the room, quiet giggles leaving him. It had been a fear response that was literally beaten into him, no matter what he was feeling, if he felt it strongly he'd be giggling. He knew it put people on edge, given how similar it was to the Jokers giggles

"Hm yeah shower sounds nice, you have the uhh toxins?"

He stares up at Dick, pushing the hair back
