New linocut. Two birds, two fish, tessellated. One print in black & white and one using a stenciled 2-pass monotype as color. (It was mostly an experiment in adding color via some other method than hand coloring or additional blocks.) This print and its design were inspired by one of Escher’s woodcut tesselations. The title is “One of These Birds…” size is 11in x 10in (27cm x 25cm) #printmaking #reliefprint #blockprint

New tessellation, new stamp, with cameo appearance from my cat

Finished a new dress. Fabric is hand-dyed (using avocado pits) and hand-printed rayon using a linocut and rubber stamps, pattern is True Bias Shelby Dress altered with a lace-down back fish pattern is my design.

Newest, more Escher-like, #tesselling #fishpattern I decided to print as a first run on fabric. Using @speedball_art silver fabric ink on dark blue acetate to be used as a lining for a handmade wool coat. Stay tuned.
