Truth or Lies

His name is found 150 times in the New Testament.

A fisherman from Galilee who met the Lord Jesus Christ in the flesh and served Him in Spirit and Truth.

He was called Simon, Simeon, but the Lord changed his name to Cephas known as Peter.

Was married left his family to follow the Lord, He healed his mother-in-law and restored her. Matthew 8:14-17.

He walked almost on water 🌊 but got afraid. Matthew 14:29-33.

What he is most known for, denied the Lord 3 times before the 🐓 rooster crowed. Matthew 26:33-35, 69-75.

The Lord restored him by asking him 3 times 💓💓💓 if he loved Him. John 21:15-17.

Wanted the Lord to wash him completely at the Lord's Supper before His crucifixion. John 13:6-9.

Left the disciples in the boat and swam to meet the Lord Jesus Christ on the beach. 153 fishes were caught in the net. John 21:11.

Spoke about the TRUTH about the Lord Jesus Christ touched by the Holy Spirit, Words of Eternal Life about who the Lord Jesus Christ is. John 6:66-79.

Was at the Mount of Transfiguration. Matthew 17:1-8.

Ran at the tomb when Christ was Risen. John 20.

Touched by the Holy Spirit, 3000 souls were saved at PENTECOST. Acts 2:14-21.

Witness first time to Gentiles about the Lord Jesus Christ to the Italian centurion named Cornelius and his family. Acts 10.

How he got to the first church called Christian in Antioch. Acts 11.

His arrest and deliverance in Jerusalem. Acts 12.

Questions always the Lord: Matthew 15:15-20, 16:18, 17:1-8, 17:24-27, 18:21-23. He wrote the Epistles 1 and 2 under his name.

What more can be said about him ???

Bold, coward, denier, repentant, believer, faithful to the Lord after the Lord prayed for Him and restored Him and received the Holy Spirit in the Upper Room.

An ordinary fisherman turned into an extraordinary fisher of men. That is what the Lord does, takes the ordinary person and transforms that person to do extraordinary things for His GLORY.

”Last night, while waiting to board our plane, Carter Jean was being her usual inquisitive self wanting to meet and say “hi” to everyone she could, until she walked up on this man.

He reached out and asked if she wanted to sit with him.

He pulled out his tablet and showed her how to draw with it, they watched cartoons together, and she offered him snacks.

This wasn’t a short little exchange, this was 45 minutes.

Watching them in that moment, I couldn’t help but think, different genders, different races, different generations, and the best of friends.

This is the world I want for her.

In a country that is so deeply divided by beliefs, I want her life to be filled with moments like this... not liberal or conservative republican or democrat, socialist or capitalist, just HUMAN.
