so what strain did she have to deal with growing up? did she have to sleep in a room with her three tormentors because they just didn't have space for her to go anywhere else? how does that affect someone's psyche, to not even have a safe space to go to sleep at night? did she have a room to herself while the three boys had to share? how might that had soured her relationships with them further, breeding resentment that she was allotted private space in a small homestead? did she share with one brother, so the kids were evenly split between two rooms? did she have to learn to sleep with one eye open because her brothers had access to her when she was at her most vulnerable? what were the bedroom politics with four kids in a small house like for the smyt'hh family??
