Binukid Phrases
Binukid is the dialect used by indigeous people in Bukidnon. I found an article that lists some of the noteworthy phrases used by its speakers:
  1. “Maayad ha maselem” - Good morning
  2. “Maayad ha daleman” - Good evening
  3. “Maayad ha aldaw” - Good day
  4. “Salamat tungkay. Madakel ha salamat” - Thank you very much
  5. “Inu sa ngaran nu?” - What is your name?
  6. “Hindu ka tag-payanaen?” - Where are you going?
  7. “Agkabaya a tag kaen.” - I like to eat.
  8. “Dumahi a” - Please accompany me
  9. “Diya ad en” - I’ll go now.
 10. “Kumusta kad en?” - How are you now?
 11. “Maayad” - Fine
 12. “Inu en sa oras iman?” - What’s the time now?
 13. “Kaen ki” - Let’s eat.
 14. “Agkabayaan ko ikaw.” - I like you
 15. “Yan a si (ngaran nu)” - I am (your name)
 16. “Maayad ha pag-uma ta Bukidnon” - Welcome to Bukidnon
 17. “Liko-liko kaw ra.” - Come again.
