howdy! unfortunately the SoL fandom is few and far between but you're likely to find a lot of us around on tumblr :)c

incidentally my favorite companion (or at least the first to come to mind) is probably obie, not only because of the bias of 'he's somewhat connected to my loathing protags' but because i think his character is very strong -- he's got a very clear voice and design that fits well into the noir aesthetic; he's an early-game companion and because his vignettes are very compelling (i hold close to my heart the oboe minigame).

as it stands i also really like barker (who's almost always affectionately renamed 'jekyll' in my saves) because if i remember correctly he was the first companion i finished the game with. his motivations, as silly as they are, are very strong too and i adore the fact that he's pivotal to the 'good ending' with margaret.
