I am gonna go back and make a review of other splatterpunk books I read. I really enjoyed them.
Yes, I enjoy the gore. Even the mindless stuff sometimes. I don't think liking gore makes me bad or a tasteless person. It is a coping mechanism for me, I'm sure a lot of horror and splatterpunk fans find comfort in fictional violence to help with feelings that can't otherwise release.
I enjoy when the authors get creative with their kills and twists.
I like the feeling of being a little grossed out and scared. But, I am desensitized so it is very hard to make me throw up or make me feel scared.
Here is a list of books I have read:
Playground by Aron Beauregard
Try The New Candy by Aron Beauregard
The Slob by Aron Beauregard
Scary Bastard By Aron Beauregard
Dead Inside by Chandler Morrison
Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite
Payback Is a Witch by Rowland Bercy Jr.
You Will Be Consumed by Nikolas P. Robinson
And here is a list of books I'm still reading
Yellow by Aron Beauregard
Wedding Day Massacre by Aron Beauregard
Through the Eyes of Desperation (red) by Aron Beauregard
And finally, my wish list for the future
Modern Hysteria by Aron Beauregard
All Smiles Until I Return by Aron Beauregard (1st in line)
Whatever else Aron Beauregard has on Audible
Gone to See the Riverman by Kristopher Triana
Through the Eyes of Desperation (black) by Daniel J. Volpe
Bad Appetites by Jon Athan
Into the Wolves' Den by Jon Athan
Pedo Island Bloodbath by Duncan Ralston
Until the Sun by Chandler Morrison
Games: books 1-6 by Sea Caummisar
There are some others on my wish list but I don't feel the need to list them. Talking about murdery shit online is cooler than talking about SA, I don't want to talk about that. Those books focus on those aspects of life and it's not necessary. At the end of the day, I'm gonna read that because I'm not bothered by it. (If we're talking real people, I would be because that is nasty).
Lemme know if I should read the one and only Cows by Mathew Stokoe. I'll hunt that bitch down and read it.
