  She giggled and got up to help him wincing only a little. “Thank you so much.” She said genuinely. “You’re too sweet.” She said.

"Don’t mention it, I mean. Everyone has to eat right?" He waited for her to sit up before putting the tray across her lap and went back to sitting next to her. "I hope you like it"

"It smells great." She said noticing there was no meat. She smiled at him and started eating. She may be super thin but she ate everything always. She occasionally would look at him and a thought went through her mind. What if he really did like like her? Would he even want her to be his?

  She went to protest but was still sore. She nodded and waited for him.

After piling  plate with pancakes and eggs, and getting her some apple juice,Alex put them on a tray and balanced them back upstairs.”Breakfast delivery!”

She giggled and got up to help him wincing only a little. “Thank you so much.” She said genuinely. “You’re too sweet.” She said.

Jay hugged him with her one arm. She smiled up at him. “Thank you.” She whispered.

"Are you hungry?" He asked softly.

She nodded. "Yes." She whispered.

  "Shhh. Whoa there take it easy." Alex tried to sooth her, "Its not a big deal ok, all we did was sleep. Everything is fine"

Jay nodded. “I just ow feel bad and i c-can’t go home. I can’t.” She said just wanting to sit in his lap and cry. She wiped some tears from her cheeks and looked at him.

Alex wrapped his arms around her and held her close. “You’re not going anywhere ok. Not anytime soon so don’t think you can get away that easy” he joked.

Jay hugged him with her one arm. She smiled up at him. "Thank you." She whispered.

Jay bit her lip. “I’m so s-sorry.” She said as her breathing started to escalate. She winced and wheezed a bit. “I didn’t.. I should have.. Ow ow ow.” She whimpered holding her now throbbing side/ribs.

Jay made a groaning sound and opened her eyes confused. “Hmm?” She said looking up. “I..” She said lost for words. Her face was pink from blushing.

"Nothing happened" Alex clarified, his gran looked down at them and raised her eyebrow. "Nothing I promise" She looked as if she was going to make a comment but shook her head instead. "Alright, just, get some more clothes on Alex, breakfast is ready"

  Jay smiled and snuggled as close as she could to him. “Night Alex.” She mumbled before loosing consciousness.

The next day Alex woke up to a tap on his shoulder. He looked to see his gran wearing a disappointed look on her face. He gently tapped Jay awake “oops”

  Jay smiled. “Me too.” She mumbled. “I really really like you Alex.” She added.

"I really like you too." He kissed the top of her head and started to slowly drift asleep/

Jay smiled and snuggled as close as she could to him. "Night Alex." She mumbled before loosing consciousness.

  Jay cuddled up to him being careful not to hurt him. She nodded looking up at him. “A little cold but I’ll live.” she said with a smile. Even with a bruised face she could still find a  reason to smile.

Alex wrapped the blanket closer around them and snuggled up to her. “I’m glad you’re staying with us Jay” Alex murmured into her soft hair.

Jay smiled. "Me too." She mumbled. "I really really like you Alex." She added.

Alex followed her actions then wrapped an arm around her. “Are you comfy?” He whispered, not wanting to wake his sleeping grandmother.

Jay cuddled up to him being careful not to hurt him. She nodded looking up at him. "A little cold but I'll live." she said with a smile. Even with a bruised face she could still find a  reason to smile.

  "Yeah, I’m tiny." she said with a smile. 

"Ok," Alex waddled to the bed and sat on the edge of it.

Jay walked to the other side of the bed and pulled down the think comforter getting under it.

"Will we fit?" Alex asked while glancing at the twin bed that his gran had set up for her.

"Yeah, I'm tiny." she said with a smile.

Alex blushed even more. “I…you…..you’re a lot finer.” He tried to wink but failed terribly

Jay giggled. She hadn't meant it that way but it sounded like it so she didn't even care. "so.. uhm.. " she whispered. "Oh yeah sleep.. " she giggled with a wince.
