It's awesome having someone in your corner all the time. Fighting for you, fighting with you. Even when you're not ready to go to them yet, it's still comforting.

Today was a bad day for me. It's the kind of day where you get triggered by every little thing, the kind of day you want to just hug your knees and cry for no reason. But he was there. And instead of my knees, I hugged him and cried. He stroked my head, told me "I'm here" and that was all I needed.

Hey. You haven’t lost him yet, and you don’t have to lose him. Just try your best to handle it properly. It’s easy to imagine that he probably didn’t tell you because he was ashamed or because he didn’t want you to think any less of him.

I think you definitely need to talk to him about it (confront is too strong a word) because I don’t think this is something you can just brush aside. But before you do, maybe have an idea of how you want to move forward. Knowing this about him now, can you look past it? Are you able to not let it judge your current relationship? Will you become insecure? Do you still want to be with him? You don’t have to have all the answers right now but at least think about them, and it’s your turn to be honest with him when you do talk about it.
